Witch Sal Tryal
Sal Tryal is an unusual witch And not the kind that eat kids. She leads a quiet and simple life Wants no bother or any type strife. The deep forest is her piece of heaven In a place called Nottindevon. Maker of spells and misty brews And lives on eating veggie stews. She carves wood with her toenail clippings Then sells her makes for ten shillings. Money toward her wildlife safe haven With her bird friend, Rilo Von Raven. A sanctuary for creatures of the forest For every type; the tall and the smallest. She's not an old lady and won't poison an apple But sometimes her laugh can sound like a cackle. One sunny day, some humans came in, Their polluting and noise made her head spin. Scattered cans, rubbish not placed in a bin So angry was Sal, the hairs curled on her chin. Music so loud, could feel the ground vibrate Even the Devil emailed a complaint. She took out an eyeball to look over the hedge And this, she casted in a spell pledge. "Curse humans who break this command No litter, no pollution no cruelty from man. Peace and kindness, respect and protect Or be nail clippers for my next carving project." For a while she had lots of new clippers Some she turned into warning post stickers. Peace and harmony was good for while Until a rebel had an idea of a witch trial. That is how the witch trials began Always start trouble, does the human. How do I know this all to be true? Sal's bloodline flows through me too. 25.06.22
