It Takes a Village
We are a Hartland kind of small town. People are good folks here. there's not a whole lot to do but we work hard doing it. Last year we hit a record of two rapes and three murders. The sheriff says we're just a statistical anomaly, just a blip where blips seldom occur. Our town, is a very, very good town, we farm, do no harm, we have a single industry of tinkering with tourism. The high school is on permeant lockdown since - well you know what. Lately there's been a lot of shootings at the one bar where we meet and greet, it's troublesome the pastor says it’s worrisome. It's like we all turned into a big city problem, when we were just sitting on the porch enjoying that small town summer breeze not looking. The Mayor says we will be on our knees by the end of the year. Who would have thought that evil could grow so tall in our very own corn fields while we were playing checkers, or watching an Andy Griffiths show from a town called Mayberry.
