Standoff
Can you for once not feel criticized When someone's trying their hardest to say otherwise? Can you at least try to see the bright side of this? The truth's the truth, doesn't matter how much it hurts, It's all about how well you handle it. Guess we're not the kind of friends Whom take each other's opinion of one another, But hey at least I take yours in tearful stride. Consider this a one-time thing, 'Cause I’ve said all I had to say. I may have went too far, but hey as your friend, I went the extra mile to prove to you I'm not all about always making you smile. I may have went too deep, but hey as your friend, I know I pushed all the right buttons. You’re no foe, but I think you should know: Nothing's more liberating Than for once hurting your feelings too.
