What can I afford I feel so below the line, but I know that i'm lucky to have everything gods given and I know that I should be grateful but sometimes it feels like I can't do anything at all. I have nothing to look forward to... the world keeps on turning and everyday keeps reminding me that I can't compete with those girls out there with credits cards, with daddies money and new cars most of the time I feel so broke down and alone in my little old city. I live in the most expensive place that money could buy, But having wealth flaunted at me is nothing that I feel happy about. I lost myself constantly trying to figure out a way that I can stay above the water. If only the world was free, free from taxes, free from all it's debts then maybe for once I could splurge. If the world was free than I could be anything without the lock and key shutting the world I love away from me. If only suddenly the many lottery tickets my mother buys would land us a fortune than maybe I could have a taste of the good life, a taste of freedom... not having to work hard a taste of laziness. But I can close my eyes and almost feel it, it's just beyond the horizon and I know that even though I am not there the hard work that I am doing will teach me the value of dedication. I am so thankful for the life I have and I've realized if the world was free we would be dying and not surviving. The way I live has taught me to survive; a lesson many rich people scarcely know.
