Calico Cat Knew What To Do
Dog and the mule came to the outer space challenge without a clue. Calico Cat arrived fully prepared, knowing exactly what to do. The dog and the mule resented her at first, for she was so smart. But she knew how to speak in a gentle way; it was a great start. She also shared, and she taught them how to survive on their wits. They began listening to Calico Cat, and they stopped their little fits. She had empathy, and she was kind, a great listener too. They began seeking her out, liking her ability to know what to do. How did you get wise? Dog and mule asked that cagey generous cat. I started out on my first outer space challenge with a very wise rat. He showed me what to bring, gave me tips every inch along the way. We were fast friends, not enemies, by the end of the very first day. I still value him, the Calico Cat told us. We see each other in the alley. We pretend we don’t, but sometimes we wink. His name is Rat Rally. Not supposed to be friends, but we are. I save his life every day! Moral of this story: Give everyone a chance, and listen to other’s wise ways
