I tried to be cool, But I was making myself fool. I hid all my tears, So I can look fierce. I behaved strong, but deep inside knew it was wrong. I learnt how to wear mask, And say I was fine when anyone would ask. I hid my scars, To reach stars. I found a staircase, But it took me down ways. Was I falling down, Just to become famous in the town? Yes I became famous, But landed in a fuss. There was only me, No one else was free. What I wanted I did gain, But I was not what I was when it began. I thought I would get happiness when I reach there, But it was lost while hopping here and there. Now I do know, Happiness doesn't look high or low. It just tries to find a heart, that is big enough to lend a part.
