That Day
And hurried they did Rid their troubles The doctor would Could cure all ills In their minds Faith she finds As doctors do nothing Closes, the ring Tight at night The pain kills Likes floran blight And still she tries And still she cries As the hope is there As the cure is where? God why would you dare Doctor tried to be Rational; Fair Said have us taken out End your painful bout Remove us from her And future pain Would not occur Cut us out like I am useless Like I am less All you had to say That fateful day Was that your blessing? Your consecration? Did your mind sink so far As to that location? To suggest to a couple That they end not twice, Not double, Their children? Their three children? Was that all I meant to you? Or was that all you would do? Were you lost in hope? Were you lost in faith? Did you not see Christ’s wraith? Well here I am and Though they may not be too Know that they did not end The lives of me, Kalina and Elisabeth On your words Not thought on in depth
