Forgiven and Cleansed
"If we confess our sins" this should be a positive step as we are seeking healing by turning towards God "he is faithful and just to forgive our sins" we are reassured that God will forgive and remove all our sins "and to cleanse us from all righteousness" we should follow the mosaic law of wanting to be cleansed if we do not confess our sins we live in darkness and God will punish us because he can't let sin go unpunished we should come to our senses be born again through God and be right with God be purified in our thoughts when we ask forgiveness we shouldn't label ourselves "Christian Bars of Soap" when asking for forgiveness over and over for the same sin we should be cleansed not to sin again!
