She leads me on pathways paved in bricks of gold Pointing to motifs of signs jeweled glamorously bold, Evidence of affluence and prosperity citizens behold Free from mortal worries, luxuriating life carefree On lagoons and sandy beaches of paradisiacal sea Where passions tango and romantic yearnings spree. Lies are unheard in this land, truth is never blurred, Vocabulary insists love is a precious, beloved word As neither hate, nor bigotry, nor jealousies bemoan For benevolence and compassion eminently atone Offering misdeeds forgiveness as prayers seek solace Sending imperfection to learn from sage of flawless.
