Thanksgiving Blessings
Abounding in gratitude my heart bursts out delightful praises worshipfully testifying --- “God has blessed me this 2021.” January’s thanksgiving glow greeted me with peace and hope to surmount quarantine hurdles, propping my zest--- declaring “Thus saith the Lord” during National Bible Month. February beamed gratefulness-rays brightening joyous soulwinning pursuits sharing the Gospel, advancing the Lord’s kingdom--- my part in great commission fulfillment. March with thankful glimmer cheered my days along birthday greetings, well-wishes, surprise gifts precious treasures midst love’s package --- Saviour’s grants worthy to be shared. April of grateful radiance pervaded around life-building ventures helping to meet others’ needs, while beholding our special child bask in jubilation for his brand new wheel chair --- propelling my trust on the Almighty for more milestones. May appreciation reigned, saluting me as a mentor albeit adjustments brought by virtual teaching challenges since students showcased learning yields--- achievements of educational toiling, possible through Christ. June upon thankfulness’ spirit persisted, even in my poetry vanquishing gloom of isolation and social distancing due to health protocol instilling in me wondrous family time while interceding --- then receiving answers of great Healer’s favour for loved ones and the sick. July ceaselessly remained tenacious in thanking the Sovereign midst my struggles to beat deadlines along calendar realities acknowledging that “God makes no mistakes” though I often err --- so enabled; hence, the culmination of another discipleship session. August was flooded with affirmation of “thanks” flowing along social media and face-to-face encounters in sports-fellowship, literary-music fest, graduation, alumni reunion --- seeing myself upheld by the Master’s hand. September would rebuke me in my ingratitude as conscience was guilty of such, which I must admit, being carnal since in my flesh-weakness of infirmity-distress --- Creator-Friend of mine reinvigorated me to be whole again by His love. October revival burned ungratefulness angst as the Holy Ghost wrought spiritual triumph sublime marked by pardon’s jovial serenity for sin-confession and repentance I did personally claim with awesome bliss. November reverberates with “In everything, give thanks*…” assuaging grief, gripped by God’s comfort undeniable during funeral services --- quieted through assurance of glorious re-gatherings forever. December surely heralds “The Lord be thanked!” celebrating life’s essence He has authored festively exalting His Deity--- deserving of my wholehearted thanksgiving. *1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
