I'M Her Guardian Angel
Mistreated and misjudged, 'Cause no one understood. No one really cared for her, And no one ever would. Life was getting boring, And nothing worth the while. But going down like this, Was certainly not her style. With her ego flying through the roof, She planned to make them suffer. She stole her parents' gun, Feeling much more tougher. She has bullets, And a gun to load. On ecstasy*, And in psycho mode. She makes her way to school, Only taking a few seconds. This day is hers, Or so she reckons. She climbs up to the highest, and announces into the mic: "I have something to share with you all, Please stay if you like." Everyone comes rushing forth, Curiosity in their eyes. Out came the gun, And out came the cries. Waving it above her head, Now horror fills their eyes. Screaming echoes filled her head, "Shut up or someone dies." Her high was at it's highest. High, but high still climbing. She couldn't wish for better, And better yet, best timing. Suddenly she missed a breath, And fell to the floor. And in a fit of rage, Her clothes she had torn. No idea had no one had. She'd threatened it before. Faces struck with stiffened horror, Starring at the floor. Starring at her soulless body, And clothes so viciously torn. Crying and screaming, But still too selfish to mourn. They thought that she O.D'd herself, And used the gun for protection. But as confuzed at she was, She dies of rejection. ~Written in 2002, when I was thirteen~ *Definition of 'ecstasy': a trance or trance-like state in which an individual transcends normal consciousness.
