The Blue Furry Squirrel
I was sitting under a huge oak tree,                                with a cool breeze covering over me.                                What did I just see,                                                        oh no are my eyes deceiving me.                                    A blue furry squirrel made a pass,                                   he is scampering across the pink grass.                            Watching and waiting so calm,                                        was my neighbor's cat Tom.                                            I wonder why~why,                                                        is Tom wearing a big top hat so high.                                Tom waved to me,                                                          then took off after the blue furry squirrel like a bee.          The blue furry squirrel ran so fast,                                    flames came from his furry tail with a blast.                     The chase was on~Tom ran so fast,                                  he lost his big top hat as he passed.                                The blue furry squirrel was frightening,                           as he was up a tree like lightning.                                    Tom just sat there staring,                                              looking up at the tree and barking.                                  I have now seen it all,                                                    a blue furry squirrel~pink grass~a cat wearing a big top hat~flames from a furry tail~a cat barking~now for the final call.                    I have not been drinking,                                                since I do not drink~maybe I was over thinking.               Maybe just maybe I was sleeping,                                    or was I just daydreaming.
