Man Child
When I was a child, I wanted to know.... I am now an adult, and I want to know.... I want to know what happened. I want to know when it happened. I want to know who did it. I want to know how he did it. I want to know why he did it. Was it 'He' or 'She' who really did it? Some things will never change; Nor should they. If I had my way, I'd find a great Big steel facility, Useless for any present day purpose, Like the one I remember; And when I happen to find one, I would yell As loudly as I could; Realizing that way back then, it was for no good reason; But now, the reason would be to release all the stress possible. There is one reason and one reason only that I don't consume more dairy milk on the rocks Than I did as a child. It is much too fattening. So my glass is smaller, but the rocks are just as cold and hard. At threescore and ten plus one, I can stand on my hands against The wall for the longest time, but only inside my youthful head. In many ways, I still operate daringly, with the difference being, I have no dedicated daddy to stop or curtail my fun and excitement. When you add it all up, time can take us away from the child, but there is no guarantee that time or anything else will take the child away from us. 083121PSCtest, Your Inner Child, Chantelle Anne Cooke
