-why I Loved Carolyn Devonshire Poem Powerless Enigma of Truth-
Powerless Lightning cut the power off four times this week As sultry summer storms pass overhead By candlelight, I write a letter to my sweetheart Without him, I feel powerless Without him, I feel powerless By candlelight, I write a letter to my sweetheart As sultry summer storms pass overhead Lightning cut the power off four times this week. “Why I loved Carolyn Devonshire Poem Powerless “Through dark or light being persistent is never powerless. True LOVE IS never stopped by darkness nor light, love is never powerless Light is natural there’s power in and from it. There’s also power in the storms natural Though granted power to co-create candles from wax and wicks. The power to co create is allowed by God through blessings granted and also through punishments (Sin nature) There’s no power in the dark only in the light. Enigma of Truth “Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth...” by Oscar Wilde Face-to-face, he lies; truth locked inside his heart’s vault. Is it fear of ridicule? How did he get here? Why is it he dons a mask before he’ll share true feelings? “Why I loved Carolyn Devonshire Poem Enigma of Truth “ So true, so true thinking and speaking the truth there’s relevance. One’s honesty shouldn’t change no mattered face, or truths covered or uncovered. I loved how she picked this these truths breaking down Oscar Wilde quote Placement in Contest #1 8/26/21 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021© Celebrating Carolyn's Poetry: An Uncontest Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Andrea Dietrich
