Out of Tears of Deep Blue Pain
Out of Tears of deep blue pain (Ratri says) The Sky is full of dark, black clouds. Some days are for dreaming A true day for spicy puffed rice. A true day for a sleep under the quilt Or, A day for a try for a marvellous draft of a fiction. That day the cloud of dream softly touches Somewhere farther beyond sadness The wishful thinking unfolds With the pen and ink For a new iteration of an already finished writing , a fountain pen completed a long time ago. “You will find some old writings of him, here”, She said “Thoughts of a scholar who never got second. His thoughts and opinions and his wisdom about religion. Please take it If you need it for your research work.”, His wife said. I was smiling, almost unknowingly. The newspaper column got Niladri published yesterday. He attacked not only religion there, but also the very core definition of religion. I feel anxious for him, tremendously anxious. And at the same time, I feel , the truth visualized by this scholar and the truth seen by Niladri are fairly distant and polarized in almost a suicidal way harming the inner peace. Will a person like me sustain there, at all ? But I can always try, there is no harm in it!
