She Arrived In June
My name is xxxxxx I arrived in June One night whilst the cow jumped over the moon I am vegan, loyal, afraid and brave The Sister of one and that’s it for me I’m the lover of no-one but what will be , will be I stand up for myself Whilst I sit on my shelf I feel broken, lost and lonely most of the time I fear death and isolation, being a victim of crime I would love to see animals being treated with respect After all they are innocent and incredibly perfect I daily feel their fear, and their isolation They deserve a much better and wholesome reputation I work hard for my pay without thanks or reward Are we put on this earth to work so hard ? I live in England, it’s not so proud anymore Why do I stay here ? , I’m not at all sure I dream of Paris, Provence and New York Continental salads and fancy wine corks But I follow the crowds and I go the right way I am xxxxxx and I will have ‘my day’
