Our Past Was a Furtive Shadow Drifting
Realizing how quick and relentless life can be, we can make a comparison and ie whisper it with idiocy, " Our past was a furtive shadow drifting, painting delusion on these faces and suddenly disappearing... didn't that rapid wind steal our caresses and leave? They both chased time and allowed us to weep in misery, never wiping the pain of tears as an act of sympathy; we waited for a miracle wasting a lifetime vainly hoping. Our past was a furtive shadow drifting, vanishing in the mysterious realm of the unknown... where desperate cries changed into laughter and dreams didn't exist without a human nourishing them with the vivid fantasy of a wishful Juliet who leaned over a balcony of impossibility! Are there hopeless dreamers trading aspirations for gains, happiness for sorrow, honesty for lies, and tranquility for restlessness? What will they hope to find other than the vast void in their hereafter? Whoever has built any dream and left it in a sandcastle will find nothing there, not even a trace of their footsteps; why did we keep on making mistakes losing our sanity? There are some who defy fate and get rewarded with victory, people like us want instant gratification and lose it all in moments: had we persisted and showed patience: we would have won the battle!
