Is It Easy To Say That Everything Is Over
Is it easy to say that everything is over? Were the magical moments just memories of two lovers who were attracted to each other? Did we say it was going to last forever... knowing that words were empty promises? We never considered a life of togetherness, or embraces that expressed true tenderness; we only lived for those moments, nothing else... we were selfish and kept truth buried in ice. Is it easy to say that everything is over and erase all with a kiss and a goodbye? Doesn't it hurt to admit that's a lie? Isn't guilt another form of anger? We faked everything from emotions to feelings, we never loved each other with passion, it was lust; much stronger was the conviction of wasted tears... avoiding useless pain, but who will pay the cost?
