First Annual Forgiveness Day
Happy First Annual Forgiveness Day! To cleanse your soul, please take off work on Friday. Yes, this Friday, June eleventh because it is Forgiveness Day! The day we forgive everyone! Not only is the day to do it, there are rules, guidelines, suggestions, meals to be fixed. Anyone who has ever double-crossed you, betrayed you, or hurt you in any way can come. And you can go to them. You are not there to grouse or gripe; you are bringing baked goods. Fresh coffee, their favorite fresh-squeezed orange juice, maybe even an egg omelet. The crux of the matter is, you are drinking from the waters of forgiveness. You are not there to gripe, grouse, re-hash, blame, or get into an argument. You are there to make peace, forgive, and show love. This event will be celebrated in the USA on the second Friday of June from here on out. We suggest taking breakfast to make peace and forgive, but if you prefer, it could be lunch. Even supper if you are hoping to rekindle a romantic friendship. Happy Forgiveness Day!
