The Week So Far
It has been a rough week. Monday was dog-eared and dozing. The world ended on Tuesday - so not a great start. Wednesday, not surprisingly, did not know how to break the news. The planet carried on being essentially global with millions of people unaware that they were not there. The moon being hollow could only contain so many ghosts, there were many afterlife tragedies, rumors of leaky dread locks, of nose rings blowing mournful bugles. Everywhere there were catastrophic failures of restroom facilities. Thursday dawned too early. Back on dead mother earth, those still able to crawl to work did so only to discover the office was now a black hole in a high rise tower of emptiness. Friday began better. Millions were assured that the world had returned and was sorry for all the fuss. All now was as it should be. The faithful gathered to rejoice but then the sky collapsed like a wet fish, it flopped around for hours before we understood.
