Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I lie on the cold, damp grass, alone; staring reflectively at the hole in the tent above me. I'm only here because I promised; or rather, you made me promise. The sky I see through the hole is dull and grey and the music drifting heavily from the stage in the distance is the darkest blue. When we laid here in the grass together; Just last year; the sky we saw through the hole Above us was bright, light blue, and the music blared in dazzling colours: of yellow, red, orange, and deep purple. We laughed ourselves silly about the hole. The rain dripped in at night collected in a pan; the rhythmic drips keeping time with the music; or so we convinced ourselves. Today the rain drips and makes a damp puddle on my chest; next to my heart. The blue hole is no longer.
