Convincing Titles
You see, I have a certain title in mind for a book I will write, and It will probably be a book of poems and short stories, many of which will portray life's experiences, good and bad ones, with which I have been privileged. The Title includes the word 'We', pointing to CONNECTIVITY and embracing the importance of 'COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY'. This title came to mind several years ago when I began to take writing seriously, and it has not ceased being at the very top among every other title under consideration. This title SPEAKS best to what I really want to say and present to the readers of my book. The title SUGGESTS that forgetfulness is both a natural weakness as well as a temptation that is capable of delivering dire consequences. Moreover, this title which has proven UNFORGETTABLE to me, ASSUMES that we mortals are quick to forget. I am especially targeting my descendants and the general public, pleading with them to take certain matters to heart and never forget them; to observe what I am saying; and relating to them that it would be well worth the effort for them to weigh the contents of the book carefully to gain insight and wisdom as a result. "What's in a title?", you ask. A good title has the ABILITY to arrest and captivate. A great one has the POWER to 'speak' and project 'feelings', INFLUENCING expectant readers to believe that the book's contents is a 'must read'. 'Titles to die for' EMBRACE like a blanket and warm our heart. 050221PSCtest, What's In A Title, Line Gauthier. 2P
