Elegy of a thousand voices Rises to mourn then celebrate legacy emptied out Ever to be recited in plain chant and aria – freely given As the love poem recited by embracing open eternal arms. In memory of Dr. L. Scott Martin – my vocal coach extraordinaire of 20+ years, my colleague and my friend who saved my voice after two vocal surgeries. He never turned away any earnest student.
