Thoughts and Quotes
You should only read this if you’ve nothing better to do. I’d advise against it, but, it’s strictly up to you! It’s all based on things I’ve read or heard. Some quotes from famous folks. Some from anonymous writers. Some from sayings or jokes! Why I wrote this is a mystery to me? God only knows! I’ll ask my psychiatrist next visit! Anyway, till then, here goes! Why couldn’t the pony sing it’s obvious of course. The pony couldn’t sing because he was a little horse! A stopped clock as they say. Is always right! Twice a day! Some words of wisdom from FDR even though he’s gone. “When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it; then you just hang on! Here’s a statement I think is quite true. It’s necessary, simple, and plain. “Politicians and diapers must often be changed for the very same reason!” says Mark Twain! More advice from Mr Twain with which he gladly parted! “The secret in life to getting ahead, is simply getting started!” Henry Thoreau made this observation which makes a lot of sense to me! “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s more about what you see!” It’s not having grandchildren that makes a man feel old, it’s being married to a grandmother least that’s what I’m told! Our language can be contradictory. At times it’s a little absurd! For instance, why the heck is abbreviated such a long word? What do you get someone asked if you cross an elephant with a rhino? I thought real hard and answered EL-IF-I-KNOW? Alexander the Great and Winnie the Pooh have one thing in common besides their fame. It’s obvious if you think about it! They have the same middle name! You never appreciate some things you have until they’re all gone! Toilet paper is a good example, if you’re looking for one! When you’re dead you’re dead. The pain is felt by those who knew you! When you’re stupid, the same thing is true! He was my friend and neighbor. But, he isn’t anymore! Cause the drink he thought was H2-O, was H2so4! (that’s Sulfuric Acid) Lance is a pretty uncommon name these days, whether you believe that or not! But, during Medieval Times, men were named Lance-A-Lot! Guess what happened to the wooden car! I’ll bet that you don’t know! It also had wooden wheels and wooden engine! Trouble is it wooden go! As you get older three things happen, which I bet you never knew! First you lose your memory, I forget the other two? Here’s a thought to ponder. If you try to fail and succeed, which of those have you done? A puzzle to solve indeed? Well folks, thats enough nonsense for now. I doubt that many of you got this far! If you did, you may have problem! You better find-out who you are?
