Shark Eats Their Head First
A day of fishing on the farm was coming to an end. My husband asked me “Have you seen your feline friend?” I had not, but was rarely concerned. He still had six lives. My skin was itching and I needed a bath, I kind of had hives. Seriously, you should wait to get clean, my husband warned me. I knew then that Shark had something good and dead, surely. So I called and called, but he did not come, so I got all clean. Of course the second I relaxed, there he was, the silly bean! At first I thought something was dribbling down his chin. But then I looked little closer, and saw dead things in his grin. There was a spider web, and a dead mouse against the grass. He had eaten the head already, it is his style. He is oh, so crass! He had that look that said “what are you going to do about it?” He is the king here, smug and haughty, don’t you dare doubt it! I said to my man, “Do you think you could do it just this one time? My husband said “Heck no. That pet is not mine.” So I chased Shark out the corn fields beyond the barn and back. By the time I reached the house again my voice was a hack. I gave up a few hours later and went inside to sleep like the dead. Of course at three a.m. guess what I found in my bed?
