I Pilgrim Seeking Truth Before the Grave
I Pilgrim Seeking Truth Before The Grave The night so craves, the languishing moonlit echoes of the seas yet the blood in this poor soul, strives to save the immense beauty of earth, sky and trees I, pilgrim seeking truth before the grave search heavens for inspirational decrees, The night so screams, wailings of humanity's blinded wailings yet in the gasps, and dying of the dreams darkness amplifies the mortal failings and gazing stars cast down glittering beams on sad empty ships hellbent on sailing, The night weeps, are we destined to enjoy dawn's new light while we took needed pause daring to sleep our dark world so gifted us greater plights we of weaken flesh our hopes strive to keep amidst the rain of such horrific sights, The night so craves, the languishing moonlit echoes of the seas yet the blood in this poor soul, strives to save the immense beauty of earth, sky and trees I, pilgrim seeking truth before the grave search heavens for inspirational decrees. Robert J. Lindley, Rhyme Note: In this dark world fate lessens man's power, Setting up prison cells in dark towers While life races forth into future plains Evil spreads birthing its usual pains O' but some in faith dare to believe True light will destroy all that so deceives.
