Christmas Jingles 1 - Santa Has a Party
Without a jingle of Santa's bell would know, who could tell When the sleigh was on it’s way delivering toys for Christmas Day. Santa’s Crew Party In the hours afore Santa's sleigh takes flight  when he and helpers work all through the night  He held a party in the local pub  inviting his crew for beer and grub. So many came the owner of the inn  tried telling some they should make much less din Did they take notice, of course they did not  and packed to the brim, they cared not a jot.  A riot the party turned out to be  Mrs C sat safely on Santa's knee  Unable to dance and no room for romance  even the reindeer were stopped in mid prance.  Nimble elves of course, had nothing to fear  could easily jump on the chandelier  Singing Ho Ho Ho's swinging to and fro's  jingling the bells on their heads and their toes.  Santa came out in a quite clammy sweat,  moaning this was his worst Christmas eve yet “Never again I'm ashamed and upset this won't happen again and on that you can bet.”  From a large glass of Rum Santa had a good sup   Mrs C had a try at gathering the elves up   They were having far too much fun to be gone   so Santa and her chucked them out one by one.  1st December 2020
