Six Faith-Tied Relatives of Mine
By virtue of faith-relationship with God along spiritual blood line midst redemption genes I claim that through Scripture truths my divine heritage is beautified through these Bible characters regarded as blessed women. 1. EVE (Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.) Without this Earth’s first lady I would not have this physical body to enjoy God’s goodness with somebody and share His grace with everybody. 2. SARAH (Genesis 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.) Inspired by her rigorous journey height experiencing miraculous might giving birth at age 90 years old; that’s right… I’m driven to obey the Lord with delight. 3. DEBORAH (Judges 4:14 And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee?...) Displaying gracious woman-empowerment numbered among the prophetess with heroic engagement she provided direction from the Almighty’s enlightenment influencing my decisive ministerial involvement. 4. HANNAH (1Samuel 2:1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.) In her example of prayerfulness’ fervency wholeheartedly dependent in the Creator’s mercy believing that He can do the impossible in His potency… my spirit is exhorted to trust the Saviour for my sufficiency. 5. ESTHER (Esther 4:16 …I also and my maidens will fast likewise; … and if I perish, I perish.) Her “If I perish, I perish” determination-impact indeed propels me to overcome quitting along race tract along her purposeful focus toward deliverance pact helping others toward freedom fulfillment’s contract. 6. MARY (Luke1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.) The mother of Jesus Christ in the flesh, truly blest she yielded herself as handmaid of the Lord, giving all her best serving along faithful stewardship and worship to the fullest… such influences my steadfastness against “mothering” test. Being heavenly tied to these six women who are my spiritual relatives, I thank the Almighty worshipping Him, midst my supplication to help me become the lady He wants me to with His prudence in life-building ministry. Amen! November 19, 2020 1st place, "Six Relatives" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Caren Krutsinger; judged on 11/30/2020.
