Shrewdly Played Charades
He said “I love you” in the night when all he truly meant was that he longed to kiss and hold her tight. She said “forever lets begin” when hearing words he spoke to her and then she willingly gave in. Their passions flowed, he curled her toes for fifteen minutes then without pretense he up and donned his clothes. She said “don’t go, please stay with me you promised me your love” but rudely he ignored her shameless plea. He said to her “you’re quite a score, and I’ve enjoyed your charms” as he was quickly walking to the door. She said “I think that I’ve been had, been duped and used again by one who’s nothing but a cunning cad.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These games with hearts are often played by scoundrels just for thrill and sport while leaving hopeful dreams dismayed. And so to all the fair young maids who long for lasting love, beware of men who shrewdly play charades. November 6, 2020
