Cat Whispering Faerie
The Cat Whispering Faerie had always had cats. Calicos, Siamese, most fluffy, some with growth fats. She loved them all, they were her favorite non-people. Yesterday she found a giant black one next to a church steeple. You are amazing! She said to the beast, for he was handsome for sure. He was frightened of elves, gnomes, gargoyles, and frightened of her. Come on, she urged him. I’ll give you a meal. Make you feel great. He held back, because he had been abused, had had a horrible fate. The Cat Whispering Faerie got up into his sweet face. She looked in his eyes, and gave him no space. Come on, she urged him, with the love of a creature. He had never met such a being or eyes of this feature. The cat went along, for to stay here was going to be worse. His master was accusing him of dumping out his silly wife’s purse. They liked to find reasons to be mean to cats and dogs too. They were horrible people, this dervish and his wife shrew. The cat was renamed by the faerie, so he could have a fresh start. This was the first step to mending and soothing his broken heart. He became her best friend, her advocate, her hero in every way. She has kept him for twenty years, and still keeps him today.
