Last Night Together
I can’t believe that it’s the final time, That you’ll lie here in my comforting arms, I think of the way that we’ve been as one, Since you fell for my ways and cheeky charms. I can’t believe we won’t do this again, As my first tears now begin to appear, The thing I feared most when we started out, And that day now has finally got here. I can’t believe that we must say goodbye, When its feeling quite as good as this, Though it will be gone in a few small hours, We’re now about to share our final kiss. It’s been so great since we first started out, Making love with you just feels so right, So let’s make it wondrous this final time, Our Passion mixed with sad regret tonight. As I hold you before we go separate ways, And our romance isn’t gone but now is dying, The greatest love of my life now departs, I Wonder if I ever will stop crying.
