Seasons In a Village
Winter is the worst season, Village life all but stops, It's cold, wet and the bitter winds blow, Its lonely in the winter months, Spring is a long awaited season, Greenery and blossoms start to show, The days feel warmer and brighter, Birds all nesting and creatures come from their homes, As it is starting to warm. Summer is a wonderful season, Everyone gets out and about, It's hot outside the sun is shining, Holidays and fun is what it's about, The village comes to life, People stop to chat and say "how are you"? I love the summer season dont you!! Autumn is a wet gloomy season, The rain tends to fall, fall, fall, Coats, boots and brollys are what is needed now, Leaves fall grass stops growing the flowers are no more, Life slow down as we stay inside where its warm. BUT!!!!! All to soon, its winter, the lonely feeling starts again.
