Baby Squirrel Crossing the Street It Has Something Between His Teeth
I am a school van bus driver And that's why I'm parked against the curb Waiting in the street with my flashers on Waiting for my student to come out of his dwelling, sigh! And in front of me slowly scattering w Walking in front of me On the pavement on the street , is a little baby squirrel He has something between his teeth Its tail flurry fluttering tail making a? Flashing back and forth like a windshield wiper blade He's so ominous so cute and pretty Fairly big as your hand if it walks ever so slowly As if he was on his tippy-toes What is that light green thing? Big as a golf ball in his mouth slowly he trots as he goes across on to the curb He jumps up slowly trotting cross the green grass He spies me yes He still keeps a straightforward path He goes around the big oak tree he sits it down like in a dog He drops what was in his mouth That big lime green ball he perceives to pick it up He scramble us up the oak tree it's the second day he has done this Boy this is awesome to me! This baby squirrel walking across the street but something between his teeth 8/18/20 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr 2020
