I don’t want to run anymore, the truth is I never really did, but what you did to me then brought us to this You’re the one that told me goodbye, just standing there emotionless like a stone, there was no life in you in that moment, so I left you to be alone What did you expect me to do? You told me that I wasn’t what you wanted at that time, so I had to do what was best for me, I had to go on with my life But now you’re back to haunt me, just as you always do, on this day, every year the chill creeps in, and then behind it comes you You just stand there in that creepy disguise and you have nothing to say, it’s like you expect me to be able to comprehend what it is that you’re trying to convey So, I just run away as I always do because what is there left to contemplate?
