Darkest Nights
Even the stars, Don't shine forever, Even the sea waves, Seem to settle down. But even in the darkest nights, You seem to be forever mine. There is an echo, Of your pretty name, Inside my timeless soul, How I wish it stays the same. Rose like red I was painted, By the things we did sometimes, Like a feather that wasn't so light, Your touch kept me up at nights. But even in the darkest nights, You seem to be forever mine. So many things, going in my mind, But I can't feel anything, Used to dream about being yours, And now the dream fades away. Apologies aren't needed, Time can't be mended, But when I call your name, please, Come back to where we started. As I know that, even in the darkest nights, You seem to be forever mine. Even in your worst times, I will always be yours.
