The Poise
Days come and go with the morning and evening star, tempered dreams and conclusion by all means so far. Tears from the subtle of some despair, how did this change of mood strangled the air. That boat sailed right through the living room, the unmasked irremediable husk of doom. Sad and strange as in dark twilight dawn, the neatly hidden ghost all sawn. Out of borne in time and place, the shallow pilot face to face. It is not wrong and no vengeance on senses alike, lost in the controlling fear and strange forsake. When the elements rage and voices rave, the conquering will for peace needs to turn to save. The power of momentum coming from the sacred light, oh mighty soul of you in mine by all might. No doubt in this world’s storm troubled sphere, then faith shines equal without shadows of fear. Acting in vain are the million creeds, worthless interfering weeds. When your sacred fellowship seemed not so far to seek, and hope feels strong and integrity is not weak. Knowing the twilight that does not rise or set, teasing the greatest challenge for my mind, ‘to forget’. In thought and silent prayers maintaining the poise, affirmations of your indelible image is my voice.
