Letter From Nz
Letter from NZ By Jan Beaumont © Dear England, We know that you're suffering It appears in the news every day We just can't imagine, it must be so hard But the thing that I wanted to say Is we're sending our love and just hoping That you'll be back to normal real fast For you're all in our thoughts And we're certain This madness can't possibly last. And America, we see your trauma And we know that you're going through hell So we send our best wishes and hope that We'll hear very soon that you're well. To the rest of the world, we are with you We are one, there's no difference at all Everybody's a child of this planet And we all have the right to stand tall. So we're sending our love from New Zealand Don't give in, fight the fight, try to smile Remember that nothing's forever We'll be back to ourselves in a while!
