Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Once upon a time there was a man who lived in the mountains all by himself. He hunted for food, cooked his meals and collected his wood for the night. Sometimes he would get bored and visit a nearby river. He would sit there and draw pictures of animals whom he had hunted. He would draw them in pieces so as to tell the scene picture by picture. He would spend time there drawing until evening and then go back home. After a few days when he would visit the river again he would find that the pictures were mostly dusted away and gone. So upon his next visit he would draw the pictures again. One day he went to the river sooner than his usual intervals. That day, he saw that his drawings were still there. On top of that, there were also some new pictures that he hadn’t drawn. When he looked more closely, he noticed that those pictures were about him visiting the river and pictures of him drawing other pictures. He got curious and wanted to know who could draw these new pictures. He decided to stay there and hide to see who would come. He stayed by the river for a long time, but no one came. He got up and thought to leave a message in order to ask who was the owner of new drawing. He made a drawing of a man drawing pictures of another man drawing in the sand and then he put a question mark so as to imply the sense of inquiry. Next day he went back to the river curiously. But when he arrived, he found out that the new pictures were gone. Not only pictures, but also the question mark was gone as well. However his original drawings and other drawings for inquiry were still there. He didn’t understand. He put the question mark again and left. He came back the very next day and found the same thing. Question mark was again missing. Everything else was same. This repeated for a few days and the man got frustrated and so in anger he erased everything and left. He didn’t come back to the river for several weeks. After several weeks, he visited the river again. This time, he saw that there was no more drawings. Of course, that was because he didn’t draw any. But what he saw exclaimed him, mysteriously, in the sand there was a big drawing of a question mark.
