Sounds of Sorrow
I lost you one day while I was looking out. All I could see was the fog from my window. Where could you have gone with no one to answer. A question that I’m left with no matter what. Sorrow floods through my blood. What is left of who you were? Gone in a certain of what could have been. No control of what we should have been. Awakened at night to a dark howl. Never really knowing what I will find. I’m standing in a dark forest looking up at the howl. Like a cat in a tree there you were scared and alone. A rush of pain shoots through me as I realize I’m standing alone. Finding a path back to life without the person I loved most. Crying tears of sorrow with a sound I will never no again. Pain subsides but reality never will. The sounds of sorrow will never go away.
