Inside the Devil's Eyes
I thought I ran from him, Far enough away, Figure how he's found me, Living daily in my brain. Breathless I lay helpless, Feeling battered and ashamed, Sinking so low into the darkness, Even the light can't shield the pain. Hand in hand, Once again, Unable to resist, Feeling the bliss, As we kiss, Shaken violence through the room, Memories, Hard to see, Nothing even feels clear to me. As I finally die, Inside the devil's eyes. He's a danger like no other, Both in the darkness and the light, Hiding behind everyone's shoulder, With a temptating silence. Seen only by the holder, Of the evil one's flame, Knowing nothing eye covers, Memories never to be tamed. Hand in hand, Over and over again, Unable to resist, Through this life he's slowly kissed, All alone inside this room, Silenced memories, Sheltered between him and me, Eyes not clear enough to see, As I finally die, Inside the devil's eyes.
