Dream Fields
Dream fields As I walk through the door, opening the screen door, hearing it creek like a old rusty tractor, I am greeted by the smell of fresh Georigia air, feel the warmth of the sun on my face, the gentle breeze brushing my hair I see the sun's glaze on the field, i walk down to the field where my grandpa stood in 1943, he grew life from the dreaming fields, that is my harvest now, the sun rolls down, big as a miracle, and fades as big as a miracle, fades from the midwest sky, and the corn and the trees, wave in the breeze, as if to say goodbye.. A soft hearted, georgia girl, who grew up in this Georgia town, dreaming of becoming a singer, wanting to be in Nashville, she drove to Nashville, brought with her, those memories of the dream fields, she stepped up to the stage, with the memories of those trees, corn waving as to say goodbye, now is greeted with hands applauding, waiting to hear her golden voice, she brought with her an harvest of the corn, she has a harvest of fans who love her voice, her small town heart of gold, she sees the trees waving as if to say goodbye, we love you trisha, we are your harvest of fans, look out into the crowd, your mom, dad are there in your heart, take a deep breath, and sing from the heart..
