While the hour was late and Queen Fredericka was fast asleep in her queenly suite, the wolf appeared before the window of his imprisoned red-headed beauty, and whispered sweet words of love to her, breaking the spell by having the walls of the prison disappear and making sure the wicked queen would never wake up from her sleep.
