"The storms are raging on the rollin' sea, and on the highway of regret."* All quiet in the evening cove, ship rests against a red-orange canopy, a canvas of peaceful existence is seen, as sailors in comraderie sing affably. Darkness overshadows the glow, singing stops and is replaced by snores, men dreaming about being home, where wives greet them with list of chores. Watchman keeps awake as the ship creaks, waves gently breaking against the hull, rocking as if a cradle until early dawn, stirring bodies wake up to a loud sea gull. Breakfast served in the full galley, steaming coffee with biscuits and butter, sailors eat quickly and go to their posts, sails and flags hoisted without a flutter. The ship sets sail with all of its glory, captain looks above and sees red skies, wind howls with a mighty mean gust ship lists to one side as men bellow cries. Sirens of the seas sing their dirge of lament, sailers forced into their watery graves by jumping ship as they heed their songs, forever captured as their aquatic slaves. There is a moral to this ship's story, red-orange skies at night provide delight, a momentary relief of peacefulness, red skies of morning cause deadly fright. *Song by Bob Dylan - Make you feel my love
