Sunday Morning Comics
Bing bang, I saw the whole gang; bopping to the beat of my dream; There was the court of damnation; who had gave me probation; There were the ladies I knew; who I’d left feeling blue; And in the corner, a woman that claimed that I owned her. There was a band; playing “catch you I can” And they called themselves “songs of the dammed” Those guys in the group I often saw on my stoop; Passing there weed hand to hand. There in the back; were the boys of attack; When I asked them to leave; they pulled knives from their sleeves; They laughed in my face, said I was disgraced; And said “you are all the things that you do” The music did stop; I heard a pop; It was my daddy with blood on his hands; He said “don’t worry Son,; together we’re one” And I tossed my fresh drink in the sand. It was a hell of a dream; I laughed and I screamed; There’s things I left out; weather it helps I have doubt; When I told them I’m gone; I’ve been here too long; They all yelled NO; in a shout Bing bang; the alarm clock then rang; I had a funny sensation; I should take a vacation; As my coffee did brew; I saw the sun coming through; So I called to my muse, we worked up a truce; and we wrote this special for you
