Heavy Gossip
MARGARET ASHWORTH Sarah, have you heard what Margaret Ashworth did? Well, honey, let me tell you! First of all, she went to the liquor store and I know that for a fact because John Hanrahan was there and saw her buy a fifth of vodka. I didn't know she drank, but now I know for a fact. John decided to follow her and said she went straight to Dennis Culligan's house. Dennis' wife is out of town. Well, John said she just walked right in like she owned the place. That was at 5:30 yesterday afternoon. He went back by Dennis' house at 10:30 and Margaret's car was still in Dennis' driveway. Can you imagine that? Makes one wonder what they may have been up to. I seriously doubt they were playing Old Maid! lol What in heaven's name could they believe people would think if they should drive by and see her car there for five hours or longer. Well, honey, that ain't all. John stopped by Wal-Mart on his way home and who do you think he saw? That's right, it was Dennis' wife. She had come home early from her trip to her mother's house. Now the you know what is gonna hit the fan. I can't wait to see who ends up in Hadley Brother's Funeral Home on this one. Sorry, gotta go! My husband just drove up and he hates it when he hears me talking on the phone. He said I'm the biggest gossip in the county. Bye Bye! 28 December 2019 For the contest sponsored by Julia Ward
