Alas! Wretched is the fool that pines to splash bleeding ink shouts to invisible ghosts, about coming back from the brink or in idle hours seeks beauty that eternity dares to hide while ripping into heart and soul, man's sad, repugnant pride? Shall midnight shadows delight in disasters born of Love or commands fly as winged beasts from starlit heavens above as newborn dragons belch horrendously hot flames to slay those that labor with gentle spirit and absolutely no pay? Alas! Should not the act of giving without recompense bequeath at least recognition to mend life's broken fence for sad is fruited harvest, unleavened the molded bread for those that so mightily work to be remembered when dead! Shall these words fall, as a corpse into a decadent grave ignoble unto the ignorance of brainwashed masses or by some miracle, enlightenment come forth to save we humble poets' treasure hope, as new darkness passes?
