I Want a Cobra For Christmas
I want a cobra for Christmas Only a cobra will do Don't want any other junk, certainly no toy I want a cobra that will eat up a large boy. I want a Cobra for Christmas And maybe some nutty trail mix. I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you? He can bring a wife and children too. I can see him now on Christmas morning Slithering toward my cousin’s head. Oh what joy I will feel inside. When I sense him inside the cobra instead Of bothering me like he usually does. Yes, cousin you had better hide For I want a cobra for Christmas Only a cobra will do No fake cobras, and not one that is stuffed. I want a l lively one that can easily get puffed. And cobras like me, too My family had one once when I was two. I used to play near the cage, and we talked to each other. You can ask my dad, and my grandmother. They were turned off, but I was enthralled. I want a cobra who can laugh and can crawl. I can see me now on Christmas morning Creeping down the stairs Oh what joy, what surprise When I open up my eyes To see a cobra family standing there I want a cobra for Christmas Only a cobra will do No fake cobras, and not one that is stuffed. I want a l lively one that can easily get puffed. It’s a perk also that cobras like me too. No other present will ever do!
