O' That Such Spring Glory Could Last All the Year Round
O' That Such Spring Glory Could Last All The Year Round Rain splattering across bright green lawn this new morn wetting earthen soil, soaking new baby grass soft born distant thunder, echoes blasting that Nature yields more of her sweetness, on man and his many fields. O' that such Spring glory could last all the year round with its beauty and into man some sense thus pound yet life takes its pleasure as others seasons flow even in harsh winter and its white falling snow. From Summer's views, this old soul so oft seeks much more within forests heavy dark and lake's lapping shores or mountain ledge seeing the world tiny and small oft wading waters, spit forth by cool waterfalls. Rain splattering across the green lawn this new morn. Wetting earthen soil, soaking new baby grass soft born. R. J. Lindley, April 10th,1977 Sonnet, ( A Fine Spring Morn, Busy Writing From My Front Porch ) Old Note: Today, such sweet blessings to be alive.... New Note: Today, such sweet blessings to be alive and still writing poetry...
