Morning Plant
Take a good look, this flower on vines almost forgotten. Vine of flowers growing expeditiously and vigorously, Heart shapes of each a detail of true valentines galore. Twists and turns ever climbing, heading for the sky. Coming from a seed, which is hard and soulless, it seems. Starting slowly and sometimes needing help on its climb. All of a sudden, mounds and mounds of heart shape leaves. Morning arrives which you do not expect such magnificence. Shaped as bells, perched, sometimes white, blue, red or pink, Glistening radiance from peering sun at the purest time of day, Morning dew sprinkled resting upon petals of cascading color. Over, around and under each of it’s parody of vines searching, Soaring skyward ever higher until there is nothing to grab. Spreading and dispersing as well as wrapping upon it. Onward and onward ever presenting itself proudly to the world. Morning Glory, the most highly disregarded and forgotten by all, This is a shame and dishonor to this enduring glorious plant.
