Methuselah and a Day
Well, 62 years ago, both of my parents were 'lost for words' and were simply amazed-- "That I kept on finding them!" In the sibling department, there were six of us, three sisters and two brothers--I was the youngest, and being as such, all I needed to remember was one phrase. To my sisters, "I'm tellin' mom!" To my brothers, "I'm tellin' mom!" Mom RULES, dad would whisper to me that he overrules, though no matter where mom is, she can hear, "I heard that--he would always laugh." Later in life, we had seven kids who picked-up all the bread crumbs that we left on a trail in the wicked forest that we left for a bird--so much for the bird, well anyhow, in our house there are no girls or boys, but we split them up between two groups. There were the... "Give me, give me, give me! Then there is the... It wasn't me, I didn't do that!" At first, only the boys came out, and people thought we were Chinese following the one baby policy, and that boy babies were considered more dependable to care for the parents in their old age (sad though). Then Eleven grand and two great-grand, for a 62-year-old. And to the love of our lives, a soon-to-be, Heavenly 60th Grace-filled Birthday, --we all miss you, TAKE CARE FOLKS!
